A Classic Coastal Wedding Near Charleston, South Carolina
Virginia and Will’s wedding day at Seabrook Island Club was filled with sunshine, ocean breezes, meaningful family moments, and a dance floor that stayed full well into the evening. Their celebration reflected exactly who they are as a couple: thoughtful, joyful, and deeply connected to the people around them.
After spending time together during their downtown Charleston engagement session, it was clear that Virginia and Will value timeless imagery, genuine connection, and celebrating with the people they love most. Their wedding day was a beautiful continuation of that story.

With the Atlantic Ocean just steps away, Seabrook Island naturally brings a bit of coastal drama to any wedding day. The sun was shining, the fall air was crisp, and the wind off the water added that unmistakable Lowcountry feel that brings seaside celebrations alive.
Meaningful First Looks with the Important Men in Her Life
One of the most thoughtful parts of Virginia’s wedding day timeline was her decision to include multiple first looks before the ceremony. Before seeing Will, Virginia shared special moments with several important men in her life: her grandfather, her father, and her brother.

Each of these first looks created space for quiet connection before the day’s events unfolded. These emotional moments were incredibly meaningful and allowed Virginia to pause and share time with each of them individually.
Afterward, Virginia and Will shared their first look together, a joyful moment that gave them a chance to slow down and enjoy time together before the ceremony.
Classic and Timeless Portraits at Seabrook Island Club
Virginia and Will gravitate toward classic, timeless portraits that feel refined yet natural. Seabrook Island Club provided the perfect backdrop for this style of photography.

The open coastal landscape, elegant architecture, and soft fall light created a setting that felt both relaxed and elevated. Even with the steady ocean breeze, something anyone familiar with Seabrook knows well, the environment added movement and texture that made their portraits feel even more dynamic.
The result was a collection of images that reflect exactly what Virginia and Will envisioned: elegant, authentic, and timeless.
A Special Heirloom Veil
One of the most meaningful details of Virginia’s bridal look was her veil.
The veil was a treasured family heirloom that once belonged to her mother and was made of hand-crafted Belgian lace. It was long, detailed, and rich with history. Each lace section had been created by hand, and the veil carried the kind of weight that goes beyond fabric. It carried legacy.

Wearing something passed down through generations added a beautiful layer of history and connection to the celebration. Moments like these are part of what make weddings so meaningful, blending the past with the beginning of a new chapter.

All Hands on Deck for Sunset Portraits
As the evening light softened along the coast, everyone jumped into action to help capture the sunset portraits Virginia had envisioned.

The ocean breeze was strong, which made for a dramatic and beautiful moment with Virginia’s heirloom veil floating in the wind. At one point, Virginia’s dad stepped in to help, carefully tossing and fluffing the veil so it would catch the breeze just right.
The result was not only a stunning portrait, but also one of the most fun and memorable moments of the day. Watching her dad enthusiastically help create the perfect photograph for his daughter was both joyful and incredibly sweet.

It was truly an all hands on deck moment, and the resulting image perfectly captures both the beauty and personality of the day.
A Bridal Party Full of Laughter
Virginia and Will’s bridal party brought incredible energy to the celebration. Their group shared deep friendships and years of connection, and laughter was constant throughout the afternoon.

From portraits to the ceremony, it was clear that this group genuinely loves spending time together. That kind of authentic connection always adds an extra layer of joy to a wedding day.
A Reception Full of Celebration
If the ceremony was heartfelt and meaningful, the reception was pure celebration.
Friends and family quickly filled the dance floor, creating an atmosphere of excitement and joy. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was seeing both sets of parents dancing alongside their children and friends, creating moments that will be cherished for years to come.

From heartfelt toasts to nonstop dancing, the evening was the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of Virginia and Will’s new chapter together.
