The Venue
Nestled amid the picturesque landscape of Johns Island, South Carolina, Wingate Place provided the perfect backdrop for Renee and Grant’s beautiful wedding.
Wedding Day Details
Renee and Grant chose Engaging Events to design a simplistic and classy look for their wedding day details and decor. The champagne and black color palette added a touch of sophistication and timeless beauty to Wingate’s southern charm. The warm champagne hues complemented the rich tones of the season, while the classic black accents added an element of refined elegance to every detail.
Wedding Attire
Renee chose to consult with Jodi at White on Daniel Island for the wedding dress of her dreams. The final gown masterpiece was designed by Anne Barge with specific details customized just for Renee. The bridal bouquet, a carefully curated arrangement of neutral blooms and greenery by Engaging Events, perfectly complemented the style of the day. Complementing bride’s elegance, Grant looked dashing in a tailored black suit with champagne-colored tie and vest. The groom’s champagne accents mirrored the color palette chosen for the occasion, creating the perfect unison between event decor and wedding attire.
The Ceremony
Renee and Grant’s outdoor ceremony took place beneath an ancient oak canopy with moss-draped branches. An aisle lined with white petals from flower girl tosses and twirls, led to where the couple exchanged vows.
Wedding Reception
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the celebration moved under Wingate Place’s sophisticated white tent. The flickering candlelight and soft glow of lights added an intimate glow to the evening festivities. As warmth cradled the night, tables adorned with champagne linens and neutral centerpieces were showcased creating a gorgeous atmosphere that all in attendance will forever reminisce.
Let’s Dance
As the couple was introduced under the tent, they immediately began their first dance… the Tango. After months of secret dance instruction and preparation, Renee and Grant glided effortlessly on the dance floor to cheers and clapping from friends and family.
Renee and Grant’s wedding at Wingate Place was a celebration of love whilst being surrounded by their closest loved ones. Their union was a timeless affair that will forever be cherished by all in attendance. Congratulations Renee and Grant! Thank you for allowing me to capture your incredible day!
